4 Aftercare

Choose the aftercare option that feels right for your family. Compare In-Home and Family Comfort Suite pricing below, then select your preferred location. Prices shown are estimated totals and include the veterinary appointment and selected aftercare. Final pricing will be confirmed with you before scheduling.

1. No Aftercare / Home Burial

Your pet will remain in your care after the appointment. We provide a biodegradable shroud if desired. If choosing home burial, please follow applicable local burial requirements.

2. Communal Cremation

We will transport your pet to West Coast Pet Memorial, where they will be cremated alongside other pets. Their ashes are respectfully scattered in the pet memorial garden and are not returned to your family.

Not sure yet? We recommend selecting communal cremation for now. If you later decide you would like your pet’s ashes returned, you may upgrade to private cremation provided you contact us or West Coast before cremation has taken place. Additional charges will apply.

3. Private Cremation

Your pet will be individually cremated and their ashes returned to your family. A standard urn is included. After your appointment, you’ll receive access to your pet’s memorial portal, where you can make changes to your urn selection and choose optional memorial items, engraving, paw/nose prints, or other upgrades.

Our Family Comfort Suite — Spokane Valley

A private, comfortable space dedicated entirely to your pet and family, with a separate entrance, private driveway, and access to a large fenced backyard. Family members and other household pets are welcome. The Comfort Suite often offers greater scheduling availability and a more affordable alternative to an in-home visit.

Return of ashes

Standard return of ashes: Pickup at West Coast Pet Memorial in Colbert. Your family will be contacted when your pet’s ashes are ready. Shipping or delivery to your primary veterinary clinic may also be available; please ask West Coast about these options.
